If you have a puppy or litter of puppies that you would like to have placed in our shelter please contact us.

Precious Friends receives an average of 100 puppies a week. We receive puppies from individuals with unwanted litters and from other shelters near and far.

Our guidelines for receiving puppies:

• They must be less than 12 weeks old when they enter the shelter.
• They must weigh less than 20 pounds.
• The must receive their first DAPP or combo vaccine 14 days before entering the shelter.
• They must be in good health; no hair loss, rashes, vommiting or diarrhea.

Vaccines

We will vaccinate and deworm puppies before they enter our shelter for free. Call ahead to make sure that there is room in our shelter and we will schedule a time for you to bring the puppies in to be vaccinated and then give you a date to bring puppies back to stay permanently. Vaccines can be done Monday through Saturday from 12:30-4:00pm. Please call ahead to be sure that there is room in our shelter!
