Precious Friends

Following is a short list of some volunteer positions:

1. Foster homes for puppies, we will provide kennels, dog houses, and food.

2. Volunteers who would like to play with the puppies. (Scout groups will be great for this)

3. Public Relations: Someone to contact radio, newspaper, TV, etc. to publicize our programs. Present our programs to schools, and other organizations. Individual must be good public speaker.

4. Someone to establish and help run our newly proposed "Pets for Seniors " program.

5. Membership Coordinator: To set up membership dues, design membership cards, establish membership lists, and contact members by e-mail or phone regarding events. Forward newsletters.

6. Fund Raiser: Establish fund raiser functions. Most important -for without funds, we cannot do all the other programs.

7. Business card designer, to research amount needed, search out cheapest means of getting them printed and design the cards. We need cards in all vet clinics, and pet related business within 50 miles of Clarksville.

8. Coordinator to research low cost spay/neuter options. Coordinate with local rescue groups, attend seminars on spay/neuter. Coordinate and inform all pet rescues within Tennessee of our program. Keep up to date on legal issues affecting animals in Tennessee.

9. Editor for quarterly Newsletter and brochures on dog care to be handed out with each new adoption. Also to publish brochures, such as this one.

President, Linda Hutchison, will provide general guidance on the above programs, but we are looking for self starters. If you like dogs and want to be part of setting up a new program - Whatever your talent and interests, we have a place for you.
